“BUAN” is an Irish word, meaning enduring - It symbolises strength, resilience and commitment.

We use the word “Champion” to describe our members who train with us. A ‘Champion’ is someone who consistently commits to self improvement and being the best they can be. It’s not just about sport, its about being the champion of your story, and your life!

Founded from years of coaching experience with elite-level athletes and individuals new to training. BUAN combines science-based, best-practice methods, for everyone - from improving strength, performance, and mindset, to enhancing overall health and fitness.

At BUAN, we believe every individual has the power to excel. Whether you're a seasoned athlete, new to strength and conditioning, or just beginning your fitness journey, we’re here to help you unlock your full potential. With over 10 years of experience, we’ve worked with inter-county and high level club GAA teams, professional and semi-professional soccer. As well as individual athletes from a variety of sports - triathlons and marathons to boxing and rugby, we bring expertise from multiple disciplines to ensure you achieve your goals.

We’re not just about athletes—we’re committed to helping everyone become a ‘champion’. We work with youth sports, where we’ve implemented Player Development Pathways, people new to strength and conditioning, over 65s, and those navigating pre and postnatal fitness. Whether you’re looking to get stronger, improve overall health, or make fitness a part of your lifestyle, we provide a welcoming environment where the gym becomes your sport.

Our expert coaches offer tailored training that focuses on strength, conditioning, and positive well-being. With high-performance testing, programming, and coaching to intercounty and professional standards, we equip you with the tools to succeed at the highest level.
